I am an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Puget Sound. My research investigates how people respond to their cultural and physical environments in ways that reinforce racial and class-based inequities. You can learn more about my research here.
I received my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to graduate school, I was a lab manager at Stanford SPARQ, a social science "do tank" that bridges research and practice to reduce social disparities in health, education, criminal justice, and economic mobility. I received my B.A. in 2018 from Pomona College where I studied psychology and Asian American studies.
Outside of the lab I enjoy gardening, reading Asian American literature, and cycling around the city. I also love talking about my research with K-12 classrooms through Skype A Scientist.
